Kristi Yamaguchi just claimed victory as the Dancing with the Stars Season 6 Champion! I am so excited to see two of my favorite women win tonight. "Whatever do I mean by that?" Well, Ms. Hillary overwhelmingly took victory in Kentucky today. I am so powered up about her being our Vice President!! So, two of my (current) favorite women won today!

On a different note, I will be posting my VLOG of "Why In The World Central Texas?" next week. Sorry for the delay. I ran into some technical problems!!

Inspired by Matt Lauer's Annual Today Show Spring Event, "Where In The World is Matt Lauer?," I have decided to devote all of next week to present you with my own little version! I will be traveling to secret locations all over Central Texas to bring you the local culture, landmarks and fanfare. I can't wait to start my journey. However, the price of gas might keep my travels to VERY local, but I'm sure there is bound to be some culture close enough to share it with you. I mean if Hillary can find a way to keep telling us she can win this thing, then by God there has to be some sort of beauty around here! I will begin by tempting you with my first clue of where be on Day One on Friday.

Just a disclaimer, you might find yourself reaching for your wallet (or fabulous Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag), hoping on AA.com, booking your round trip ticket and standing at my door step by night fall! This is the part of the chat where you insert the LOL or HAHAHA. Either will work just fine in this situation.

After some much needed time to re-gather my strength to combat the world wide web, I have returned with flying colors. I am truly sorry I haven't been blogging lately. I just started a new day job as the Marketing Specialist at the Frank W. Mayborn Civic and Convention Center in Temple, Texas. The name's a mouth full I know, but the benefits are amazing! I am still operating Randy McCauley Designs and between the two I am staying busy and out of trouble! So strap on something and get ready for a Rough and Rowdy Randy Ride. In the words of Britney Spears, "I'm back y'all."

Go Hillary!

I am so excited about the primary tomorrow. I love the fact that so many people seem passionate about the candidates! On Friday my parents and I went to the polls for early voting. I have never seen my parents get this much into politics. I mean, they have always voted, just the passion behind the vote is different this time. Then we continued our journey to Waco to support Hillary at a rally. It was fantastic seeing people right here in Central Texas sharing the same views. A lot of times I feel I can't even speak about politics in this area without worrying that there will be a burning cross in my yard by nightfall. Her message was very powerful about her plan for getting our troops out of Iraq and taking care of them once they are home. She also shared her plan on taking care of our veterans. It was very moving and actually got a tear out of my mom. She continued on to talk about healthcare and the economy and received ample applause for both. After her 40 minute presentation, she came down and took a moment with each person pushed against the barrier. It was amazing seeing her up close. She really looks amazing for 60!! My mother got her attention when she called out that her daughter was serving in Iraq. She came over and took a moment with her and signed her campaign button. All and all it was a very powerful and moving experience. We will see what happens after tomorrow. Either way, I feel good about the candidates on our side of the fence.

The post says it all. If you're not familiar with this group, don't waste your time. Life is too wonderful to get caught up in their land-o-crazy. I wish they would all commit themselves. It is really painful to see people in need of mental help suffering and infecting the masses. I just had to post this in some sort of effort to share some good with the world. Peace be with them. Oh and since they always use quotes from the bible, I added one below for them.

Now, Janet herself is saying it's not a comeback because she never went anywhere. Folks, let's not pretend here. I am a die-hard fan and even I know when it's time to be honest about my favorite lady. The SuperBoob of 2004 really did a number on her career and the two albums that followed the event didn't help much either. However, I am all about "Feedback," the first single from her forthcoming album "Discipline," and I have seen a track listing and I am telling you guys this is the year Janet is back. Even MTV can't keep her away. They've added her video to circulation. So, brush up on your Rhythm Nation and prepare for total Janet Domination! Cause we all know I could use a little.

Golden Garbage!

So, I told you good night and go to another network...blah, blah, blah. Well, E! was announcing the awards with Mary Hart and her Gay Leprechaun, Ryan Seacrest, so I watched and it was much better the NBC, Billy Yuck version. However, I got so confused on who had actually won and what category we were even on, that I just gave up. People can say all they want about award shows being too long, but I'm sayin' break-out cosmos and comfy chairs, cause I'll take my three hour plus shows over all this garbage any day. Plus, there were some surprises that would have been nice to have seen live. Johnny Depp for Sweeny Todd over Tom Hanks. Marion Cotillard for La Vie En Rose over Nikki Blonsky for Hairspray and Ellen Page for Juno. Sweeny Todd for Best Musical or Comedy. Julie Christie over Cate Blanchett, Keira Knightley, Jodie Foster and Angelina Jolie! Atonement for Best Drama. So like me, you can checkout all the winners and losers online. Okay, I was going to give you the play-by-play of the Golden Globe announcements, but this is terrible! I can't even watch it. Plus, my Papa John's Pizza is getting cold. This is wild!! Please everyone remain calm. Here it comes, Best Supporting Actress and the winner is Cate Blanchett! This is fantastic and I love billy hates the win. It makes me love it more. Congrats Cate! Right to the next category, Best Supporting TV Actor. And the winner is...Jeremy Piven! So hot. I love this guy, but have a feeling he would even give me the time of day. Congrats man! Next, Best Actress-Drama TV. And the winner is...Glen Close! Hell yeah, she is amazing. Jesus, this awards show is going way too fast!! I hate it. I'll post at the first commercial break. Next, Best Supporting TV Actress. And the winner is...Samantha Morton. Congrats. I had to google her.

24kt Press Conference aka The 2008 Golden Globes

Good evening and welcome to my living room! No need to rollout the red carpet since there will be no fabulous celebrities to interview. Due to the Writer's Strike (2007-2008) there was a call for a boycott of the actual awards ceremony for the 65th Annual Hollywood Foreign Press Association's Golden Globes. Thus, the HFPA decided to forego the ceremony and just hold a press conference. Wow! I thought 2008 was off to a great start until they started canceling Award Season. This is my plea to the Producers and Writer's Guild, please come to an agreement. I live in Central Texas and TV is my gateway to the outside world. I really need new shows, fresh ideas and most of all Awards Season! I mean some of these celebrities we wouldn't even see if it wasn't for the award shows. I am begging you, come to an agreement soon. Not just because it's the right thing to do, but because there is a 28 year old gay man in Central Texas suffering a little more everyday. Thank you.

Cashmere Mafia aka Sex and the City 2

Last night was a fantastic night for television. We were blessed with another heart-felt episode of Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Another trip to Bonkersville thanks to the crazy wagon that is Desperate Housewives. And finally, my three hour television extravaganza ended with the return of Carrie, Samantha, Mira...I mean, Cashmere Mafia! For the first thirty minutes I ripped this thing apart left and right. It was like visitor at the San Francisco Zoo in the Tiger Exhibit, it just wasn't safe! Okay, that was a terribly distasteful and amusing joke...sorry. The point is, I gave nothing but the wardrobe a fighting chance. Then, at 9:37pm, like clockwork, something happened, I actually began enjoying this show. I was acquiring a taste for the power of these women and the complexity to which their story could evolve over the next few episodes. Yes my friends, I think I have found something campy, powerful, funny and en vogue on television again. It is the ABC, few years later, less witty, 2008, television void filler for Sex and the City, previously held 2 years ago by Desperate Housewives, I've been looking for! Thank you Darren Star. Someone in India knows I'm gonna die!

Welcome to 2008! (Again I welcome you.) After much thought about talking about something that rips me apart inside, I figured I'd just let it go. I ask for no sympathy or pity. I only wish to vent about this condition which I have. In October of 2006 I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I wasn't able to see a Rheumatologist until January of 2007. During that time my fingers were the size of pickles and there were days when I could hardly get myself out of bed. I remember my first appointment. God, I felt like it would never come. Anyway, the point in sharing this now is that a funny thing happened to me while shopping for Life Insurance the other day. I have always thought I should have some and in my effort to be more organized this year I figured I should start shopping around. Well, ladies and gents, I got some sure fire answers about life insurance and evidently life in general. Upon answering some health questions drilled by a kind, under paid and a little hard to understand Indian lady, I found myself getting a little upset about my RA. I just knew that with each answer my rates were climbing! Anyway, the question period ended and I was given my quote. Much to my un-surprise, the rates were outrages. So I figured I'd get a little personal and share with her that it is probably going to be hard for me to find lower rates. This is when she told me in her thick accent, "I don't know what your Rheumatologist has told you, but your condition is going to get worse. So I would advise that you get Life Insurance as soon as possible." WOW! I was shocked. It was like she knew exactly when I was going to die. I have heard of all kinds of sells tactics, but using someone's chronic disease to scare them into a purchase, that has to be a new low! Well, I feel better now sharing. Oh, and just so you know, insurance sales person in another country, I have never felt more alive.

WOW! I can't say enough for Janet's new song "Feedback." The internet almost shut down cause it's too hot. Finally, I feel like Janet might be making a comeback. My prayers have been answered. We'll just write off DaMita Jo and 20 Y.O. as little albums she had to do because they came free with her Virgin Records contract. I must say, this lady has been really doing amazing considering MTV is completely stopped promoting her. Guess she's gonna make it hard to be a "Music" channel and ignore her after the the new album "Discipline" drops 2/26/08!Just had to drop y'all a line real quick. Back to work.

Ashley Tisdale and the Table's on Fire!

Last night I totally met the Ashley Tisdale lookalike! I couldn't believe it. Here's how it went down...

I was at the Festival of Trees to benefit the Armed Forces YMCA. It was fantastic and so much fun. They have this giant ballroom with beautiful tables, an Elvis Cover Band and about 12 magnificently decorated Christmas Trees that you buy raffle tickets to win. If you win one, you win everything that's on the tree and under it! Some had things like DVDs, GPS Systems, Free Airline Tickets, Furniture, an out of this world Grill, Kitchen Aid Mixers and most importantly a High School Musical Tree with a Dance Along, Karaoke Machine! It was a blast. Not to mention, I actually arrived early! So I had a Bombay Sapphire and Tonic at the Shilo Inn right next door. Then I wondered over to the Festival. I then began purchasing raffle tickets and going wild registering for the different trees! I loved it. There were two young ladies stationed at each tree. They were wearing, what appeared to be, dance uniforms. AKA, skin tight black leggings, a black t-shirt and a black velour, rhinestone vest! Anyhow, one such girl was located next to the furniture tree. I handed her my ticket and immediately did a double take as she looks exactly like Ashley Tisdale! I then said, "OMG! You look just like Ashley Tisdale. You're so beautiful." She replied, "Oh thank you! I get that all the time." Now in my mind, as the night continued, I actually started believing it was Ashley Tisdale and started taking friends over to meet her. I know, I'm bonkers, but fun. Then I proceeded to ask her if I could take my picture with her. She so kindly agreed. My Christmas wish had come true.

Now the evening was quiet over. As an Ambassador to the Harker Heights Chamber, I sat at their table. It was a blast. That is until, one f the ladies at the table said, "I think I smell something burning." I didn't really think much of it, as there was a lot going on. However, I began to smell something as well. I turned my head to the right to look around and there it was my friends, OUR TABLE WAS ON FIRE! Apparently when the lady that was sitting next to me got up to go get another bite to eat, her napkin got pushed into one of the votive candles. The napkin then went up in flames and ignited the table cloth with it. I shouted "Fire!" and then began beating the flames with a plate. Green bean juice and mashed potatoes were flying, but the flames were dying. Fwoosh!! It was a close one. Not to mention, the Fire Marshall was sitting two tables in front of ours. It really made for a fantastic Friday evening. Now had my fabulous $40 Cashmere (that's right, I said $40 Cashmere! Old Navy, baby.) Sweater had went up in flames, the YMCA would have been hearin' about it!

Alright, back to the never-ending Christmas decorating. Have a great weekend. Good shopping to all and to all a good night!

JLH Is Not Fat!

Okay, I am over TMZ, People Magazine and all of these other media outlets that are putting down Jennifer Love Hewitt for "allegedly" being fat! I have never felt more unattractive. She is super beautiful!! I mean, am I losing it here? This woman is the Ghost Whisperer and has a supernatural body. God I would hate to hear what they would have to say about me if they saw me in a swimsuit! Meanwhile, am I the only one that thinks it's super creepy that some guy is taking these random photos? I mean dude, you're in Hawaii and the best you can do is take pictures of JHL. Wow, talk about a résumé builder! Anyway, on a more positive note, I just want to say that there is beauty in the darkest places. If the media can't grow up, I think I might throw up. I love having a good laugh in jest, but just don't be mean for means sake. It's the holidays and the least we could do is be nice to each other and just enjoy life!

Ladies and Gentlemen, some of you may not know this about me, but I feel it's time I confess. I LOVE Celine Dion. She is amazing. I would want nothing more then to be an official member of her fan club, "Team Celine!" I told a friend today that I wanted her double DVD Live From Las Vegas A New Day... as a Christmas present and she died! I don't know what it is. The amazing voice? The crazy air guitar and beating of the chest? I don't know. I just know that I love her. I really hope I can pull in some more funds for December. I really want to get my sis and I tickets to her show in 2009! Alrighty, back to reality. Hope you're having a fabulous Tuesday. I do owe you the VLOG post from this past weekend. Okay, this is it! They are promoting the hell out of "Dance Wars." I'm sure I will watch, cause what else will I do? God I love Jennie Garth, I mean Kelly Taylor! Her dance was fantastic and her partner, Jesus. My mom said it best when we were watching earlier this season, "Who's even looking at her?" I think it's pretty true. So, Ms. Celine just came back. She is singing her latest hit "Taking Chances." Another fantastic performance. I just love this lady. Remind me, why am I not a member of Team Celine? Keeping you up-to-date with DWTS The Finale, this is Randy McCauley. Next up, a look at the two finalist Mel B and Helio! Man these two are power packed with sizzle and shake. I do think they've done a bang up job, just still not Sabrina. Commercial break. The fog lifts and Mel B and Helio are revealed to shake it off for the Mirror Ball Trophy. PS, I love that the actual award is a joke. Okay Max and Mel!! Wow. I watched in pure bliss. What a treat for network television. Here comes the judges. All great comments. Let's see the scores...Carrie Ann Inaba 10, Len Goodman 10, Bruno Tonioli 10! Preparing for Helio's dance. Commercial right now. Promo for "Samantha Who?" If you haven't seen it yet, check it out at abc.com. It's so much fun and I think will be a big winner at the Golden Globes! Oh, we're back Helio is about to hit the floor. Love his smile. Now some talking with past Stars and onto commercial break. Okay, the craziest promo for the local news just came on (News Channel 25)! "A local basketball game canceled because of rowdy fans. Plus, a mother hits her child in the face with a frying pan. These stories and weather, tonight at 10." WOW! I live in Bonkersville. I don't know how she said that with a straight face. The winner is only moments away. Are you ready? I don't know if I can handle it. We're back. Season in Review with Mel B and Helio. Jesus, how long is this show? Appropriate that Celine Dion is the entertainment tonight, because this show is a lot like Titanic. It's beautiful to watch, but it takes FOREVER for the damn thing to finish. Okay, here we go. ...and we're back! Okay, so Floyd just came out and also is not dancing. So tonight's show is officially called "Not Dancing Cause We're Stars." Man, tonight's show is 2 hours also. I hope I make it. I will wait to post this until the end. No need to make you read my blog for 2 hours. Only one of us should suffer. The moment I've been waiting for, Sabrina is taking the stage. OMG!! I think I am officially straight again. This girl is fantastic. Just because the majority of her fan base is under 18 this betch is not in the Final. Oh well, what a great performance! Oh, and I do wish my girlfriend was hot like you Sabrina! And now we wait...Oh, we're back. Jane Seymour just took the stage. Now listen, I love me a hot cup of coffee and an aging cougar in the morning as much as the next young american man, but God she drives me crazy. However, her dance was beautiful! I do think she faked the food poisoning because she thought she was going to get sent home. Alright, Super Cameron just took to the stage. This man is huge and beautiful. Sometimes I do dream about him, but then he starts talking about himself and I wake up! Great dance tonight though. Must let Jackie-O' outside, brb. WOW, Cameron just ripped off his shirt! Wait, everyone is getting naked. I love this show. I'm gonna have to post this before the end of the hour. So here ya go...

Dancing with Randy, and I'm a Kind of a Star!

Here I sit on a crisp Tuesday night in Texas. Just me and the 4 animals watching Dancing with the Stars: the Grande Finale! It's so exciting. Celine opened the show with "My Heart Will Go On" and I puked!! Just kidding, it was actually very beautiful. Her facial expression at the end killed me. THIS JUST IN: Marie is out! Thank goodness. I love this lady, but I was going to be upset if Mel B and Helio were not the final two. Sometimes the popularity vote drives me crazy on this show. I mean the real winner this season in my heart will forever be Sabrina & Mark! They were the best. Okay, back to speed with what is happening right now. They are reviewing the entire season. I actually forgot how good it has been. OMG, Wayne Newton just came out of the fake tanning salon to join the host on stage and he announced he can not dance tonight due to health reasons. Plus, he is 480 years old and a national treasure. Thanks for not killing him ABC! Going to publish now to keep everyone up to date!! xo

Thanksgiving Eve!

Hairspray on DVD, a cocktail in hand and the smell of pumpkin pie in the oven, it's the perfect Thanksgiving Eve. Not to mention a great day watching Enchanted with my sis and Project Runway tonight. Man oh man I'm having a great day!

I've made myself a promise, I am going to enjoy this holiday this year. Oh, it's always been awesome and I look forward to it ever so. It's just that I feel like it's a holiday that is commercially getting lost between Halloween and Christmas. Where are all the fabulous autumn decorations? The beautiful golden turkeys and magical pumpkins? I look out the window and see the neighbor's Christmas lights! The stores are full of Christmas decorations. Not that I don't love Christmas, I just want to enjoy Thanksgiving a little more. I need to market some decor that you can quickly transition from Halloween to Christmas and still look fabulous! I'll get right on that, after the parade and the eating festivities of tomorrow!

Good Evening. I am now coming to you live from my new operating system, OS X Leopard. I love it!! I have a lot to investigate over the next few days, but I'll be taking advantage of the new features soon. I can just feel it.

Okay, so today's post is titled "The First Ten." Dedicated to the first ten pounds I am working on losing. I have had weight issues every since I can remember. Not any more though! I recently started reading "The Secret" and it's really not a secret, it just makes sense. I'm going to try my hardest to only put out what I want to get back. It should be noted, these first ten pounds I do not want back!! They are always the hardest to lose. I just know when I see the scales hit 190lbs, I'll be super charged.

So look out world, I unloadin' 10 big ones. Night Night.

The Big Time...My First Post!

Oh My God you guys (Legally Blonde The Musical) I am finally doing this. Call it my need to connect to someone or I just finally made the time. Anyway, I'm here and I'm ready to blog it out. I always knew I would enjoy doing this, just always found an excuse not to. Okay, so I won't bore you and myself with the ends and outs of blogging, just know I'm excited about doing it.

Today I am in Tennessee with my folks. My father had hip replacement surgery this past week and I came up to help out. I will be heading back home Tuesday. I wish I could stay longer, but the internet (or the way in which I log on to it) is really giving me problems up here. BBBOOO...HHHHSSS... Never-the-less, I will return to hell, also known as Central Texas. I'm ready for a change. I need a new career, a new place to call him and hot new adventures in lustland!

Alright, I'm gonna post this so it can be my official first. Good night out there and keep it perky.
